[[2015wc|2015]] Constructors' Champions [[Twister 2 Fast 4 You]] are absent from the championship, as well as [[Precision Motorsports]]. [[Bono Huis]] and [[Morgan Morand]] have also extended their sabbatical. Defending Drivers' Champion [[Petar Brljak]] fills a part-time role at both [[Twister Racing]] and [[Musto Racing]] teams. The season was won by [[Jeroen Kweekel]] at the Malaysian Grand Prix, in his first full WC campaign, driving for [[Origin Front Row Racing Team]], who wrapped up the constructors title at the final round in Brazil.
