2017 World Championship Season
The 2017 Season of the Formula SimRacing World Championship will be the 17th season of the prestigious championship.
2016 Constructors' Champions Origin Front Row Racing Team was absent from the championship, as well as Drivers' Champion Jeroen Kweekel.

Team Changes
- Origin Front Row Racing Team loaned their license to Invictus Motorsport.
- Scuderia Basilea loaned their license to Stormcharge VodBul Racing.
- Eventa SimRacing loaned their license to Flag-to-Flag Brehm GP.
Calendar
The 2017 calendar consists of 16 races. The calendar sees two returning tracks, in the form of the Nurburgring and Magny-Cours.
‡ The Australian Grand Prix was scheduled to be the season opener on March 5 2017 however for technical reasons regarding the mod, the race was postponed. It was originally postponed till the summer break but due to technical reasons, the Austrian round was also postponed and swapped with the postponed Australian Grand Prix.
Calendar Changes
- Nurburgring and Magny-Cours are new races for 2017.
- Malaysia and Hockenheim were dropped from the calendar.
Pre-Season
FSR switched from a 2016 based mod to a 2009 based mod for the 2017 season.
