History

Invictus Motorsport was established in mid-2016 by members of the rFactor 2 AI series, CRC, a now defunct league that was run by Tuson. The main people behind it were Tuson and Vrolijk, who currently co-runs an rFactor league called the Waga Racing League. The team almost immediately entered the Formula SimRacing PRO Championship. Back then they were known as Team Instinctus. Their drivers included Lorenz Dougherty, Benoit Daubert, Carlos Fernandez, David Diaz and Matthew Tuson. The latter also competed in the ACE Championship for the final weekend of the season in Brazil.

2017

In late 2016, Tuson announced the team had acquired a loaned license for the 2017 World Championship season. They also announced a new name, Invictus Motorsport. They will also enter two teams in ACE and three teams in PRO. In order to prepare for the season, numerous drivers, which include Andrej Borotovsky, Ariff Roslan, Jan Vesely, Matthew Tuson, Clayton Brown, Luke Maguire and Joao Martins competed under the Invictus banner in the Winter Series. Their line-ups for the main series and their 2017 car will be revealed at a team presentation event on the 3rd February.
